About Jessica Lesser
I started practicing law in 1997. My first job as a lawyer was in the Texas Attorney General’s Office, in the Consumer Protection Division. I left the Attorney General’s Office to as counsel to the financial services industry. I handled litigation for companies across the county and advised them on how to comply with the regulatory laws applicable to industry, including credit reporting, debt collection, loan servicing, and privacy laws. In 2006, I returned to Texas after living in Arizona and Virginia. I knew at that time that I didn’t want to continuing working for companies and took a chance and started a law firm with Craig Jordan. Craig and I worked together at the Attorney General’s Office and shared a passion for consumer law. Craig entered private practice in 2000 as “Law Office of Craig Jordan” and in 2007 we officially became “Lesser & Jordan.”
I am currently a member of the Advisory Counsel of the Consumer Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and regularly lecture at law conferences on how to defend credit card cases.
I handle all kinds of consumer cases including debt defense, identity theft, debt collection harassment, credit reporting problems, and auto fraud. If you have a such a consumer case, I can help.
About Nick Tedford
I graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2008. It was while in law school that I learned to love litigation, as I participated in several moot court competitions. In all of these competitions, I won best speaker at almost every round of competition. My favorite thing about being a lawyer? You guessed it: arguing cases in court. There is nothing like the rush, the excitement, the thrill of arguing your case successfully in front of a judge. I am always learning new ways to improve and build my skills in the courtroom and the art of advocacy. I am passionate about advocating on behalf of consumers.
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas in August 1981. I obtained my college degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2005, majoring in political science and minoring in philosophy. I enjoy fishing, playing golf, keeping up with politics and spending time with my family. In addition, I am a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks.
